Luxacan is proud to be a substantially carbon-negative operation. All our energy requirements for cannabis cultivation are provided by the sun. It is estimated that cannabis cultivation makes up more than 1% of electricity use in North America, a massive carbon footprint of 15 million MT. Manyewe North Farm contains 350 hectares of pristine miombo woodland, which sequesters an estimated 300 MT of carbon per year, a figure that no other cannabis cultivator can match.

Because Luxacan’s operations revolve around harnessing the power of nature, we are able to produce at a considerably lower cost than our competitors in the northern hemisphere.
